MP CUTS SOD FOR 2.8M ASTROTURF CONSTRUCTION, URGES YOUTH TO MAKE GOOD USE OF TALENTS

The Member of Parliament for Kwabere East Constituency and a board Chair for National Youth Authority Hon Francisca Oteng Mensah has cut sod for the construction of artificial turf astroturf in Mamponteng in order to narture the football talents in the Constituency.
During the cutting programme to commence the project, the young MP disclosed that the project is as part of her effort to make the Kwabre youth enjoy share of the national cake which also aims to enhancing their talents.She urged the youth to make good use of their talents.
Hon Francisca Oteng Mensah said it will take at least 5 months to complete the project.However the CEO National Youth Authority Mr Silvester Tetteh said they want the best out of the youth in the country not only in the football but other sporting deciplines.
He added that, these projects are going on in all the region to uplift the talents in the country to support our national sports deciplines.
Mr Silvester Tetteh said the project will cost 2.8 million Ghana cedis which was also sponsored by the national youth authority.On his part, CEO for PSG Constructions and contractor for the project revealed that all the necessary facilities needed to enhance quick completion of the project within the 5 months period was ready.Meanwhile, the queen mother for Mamponteng Nana Kyerew Akhenteng II thanked the MP and NYA for for such a wonderful project on the Mamponteng land. She however urged the youth to make a sounding use of the project to yield fruit.
